Pittsburgh has such a wide variety of places to take amazing photos, but by far one of my favorite places to take photos in is the Strip District.  By day, the Strip District or "Strip" is a bustling street full of ethnic groceries, coffee shops, street vendors, and delicious restaurants.  By evening, this place becomes my playground when it comes to engagement sessions and wedding photos.

It's easy to believe that photographing in the same location very often can get a little over-done or mundane, but I have found it to be the exact opposite when I'm there.  Every single time I go there for a session, I location scout to make sure I get some new places so my couples' photos don't all look the same!  Each time I go out to scout, I find new hidden gems that I never knew where there!

If you're familiar with my photography, you'll know that when it comes to location that textures and lines play a big role in the overall aesthetic and artistic "vibe" of my images. I love rust, graffiti, the clean lines of bridges and interesting buildings, and so many more things that can be found right in the Strip.

Because of my love for this part of Pittsburgh, I complied some of my favorite images that I've taken while photographing in the Strip District.  The variety that can be found here is astounding and gives photographers SO much to work with. It's one of my very favorite places to take photos, and if you keep scrolling I'm sure you'll see why!
